10 Reasons Why You Should Join The 4th #HAHD Challenge
Today marks the start of the 4th HAHD (100 Articles in 100 Days) challenge from Ezinearticles.com and I’ve decided to join in. I hope you decide to become a part of it as well. If you’re still on the fence, here are 10 great reasons why you should join us.
- It’ll Be Fun
Sure, at times writing this many articles can get a bit tedious but competing with 100′s of other writers is bound to make ti more fun. Be sure to follow the twitter conversation using the hash tag #hahd. - It Will Motivate You To Really Step Up Your Article Marketing
Seriously, what better way to step up you game and get serious about article marketing. By the end of this challenge, you will have 100 articles (or as my friend Nicole Dean from NicoleOnTheNet.com calls them “Little Business Partners”) out there that will continue to send you traffic, visitors, subscribers and customers each and every day. - Your Articles Will Get More Exposure Since There Will Be A Lot Of Talk About EzineArticles.com in Social Media
If past HAHD challenges are any indication, there will be quite a bit of buzz across websites, blogs and various social media sites (including twitter and facebook) about this event. This will get more people heading over to Ezinearticles.com to check out the articles, resulting in more readers of your articles. - Just Think Of All Those Incoming Links
I don’t know about you, but my websites could use a few more incoming links. If you write 100 articles over the next 100 days and add 2 keyword-rich links to each author resource box, you could be creating 200 new incoming links to your site. And that’s just from the articles being published on Ezinearticles.com. Each time your articles are published by other webmasters, you’ll get 2 more links. - Your Site’s Authority Is Bound To Go Up
EzineArticles is a pretty strong authority site. They currently have a PR 6 and some of that link juice and authority will flow into your site with each article you submit. Multiply that by 100 and your website’s authority is bound to go up after this challenge. - There are Prizes :)
Don’t forget about the prizes. As you can see in the picture on the right you’ll get quite a few goodies for submitting 100 articles in 100 days.I was happy with these until I saw the journal and pen prize for writing 200 articles – that may be just enough to motivate me to go for 2 articles per day.
- Increase The Traffic To Your Blog
Traffic to your blog or website will increase. Some of that traffic will come directly from the article directory and from your articles being republished on other people’s websites.I’ve had a website feature one of my articles in there newsletter that went out to over 50K subscribers. - Move Up In The Search Engines
With all these fresh incoming links, your search engine rankings are bound to go up. Use keyword rich anchor text when you link back to pages on your website and don’t have all links point to your home page. Instead create one link to your home page and one link to one of your article or blog post pages in the resource box of each article, then watch your rankings go up and traffic increase even further. - It’s A Good Lesson In Discipline
Sticking to a rather simple task like this for 100 days in a row is a great way to stay disciplined. It’s an important skill that will translate into all kinds of talks down the road in your affiliate marketing career. Success in Affiliate Marketing has a lot to do with doing rather simple tasks (like creating new content, building a mailing list etc.) on a regular basis. - You’re bound To Become A Better Writer
Last but not least creating all these articles will make you a better writer. Practice makes perfect.
